Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial artist who is who is a part of the UFC in the Flyweight Division. She is in Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 followed by a medal of bronze in 2008 and then a with gold in 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. She won in 2012 the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut came in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by two more bouts at the WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko was forced to take a break in order to pursue kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
